commercial port.

radio products for customers including Singapore Technologies and Mindef Singapore.

Equipment Supply
Radiomarine has a rapid-reaction capability to supply, maintain and repair a wide range of
equipment for industrial, ship and offshore operators. We are distributors and dealers for
key products, but try not to restrict customer freedom of choice for a particular
application. Agencies presently include: Acis, Antenna Specialists, Autohelm, Banten,
Blick, Comrod, EAE Group, Guardian Telecom, Icom Inc, Kenwood, KVH, Marconi Marine,
Navstar, Paktel, Ranger, Raytheon, Seatel, Sperry Marine and Systel.
Radiomarine Systems Facilities
Radiomarine Systems has a 4000 sq ft facility in a modern building ten minutes from the
city centre, 30 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from SW area shipyards. Facilities
are fully air-conditioned, divided 20% engineering office, 60% electronics workshop, 20%
stores. Surroundings are pleasant, public transport plentiful, the NUS and an expressway
are close. The area is designated by the Government for growth of Science-based commerce.
E-Commerce
Radiomarine Systems is already using the internet for Electronic Commerce. We maintain an
electronic database of new products, technology, engineering services, sources and prices
as they appear in the marketplace. This knowledge is key to sustaining our competitive
edge.
Engineering Office
The Engineering Office is equipped with PCs linked to a server running a Novell Netware
LAN, used for procurement, documentation and accounting, (by an Accpac 6 package which
includes stock control). Other Pentium PCs with Windows 95 and Office 97 suites provide
general purpose computing facilities including CAD, project management, Internet access,
spreadsheet, word processor and database management.
Workshop
Our electronics workshop accommodates 10 work positions, with multiple power supplies and
basic electronic test equipment. It supports rack assembly, system integration, and
acceptance testing, as well as test, alignment, calibration and repairs. Service
operations are supported by an extensive library of maintenance documentation covering
most of the world’s marine communications products.
